Test it, research it, track it.
What StratLab is: StratLab is a lab for testing trading ideas and understanding your own money, across ten markets, with paper trading only (never real orders) and facts, not tips.
Trade, the strategy lab: test a trading idea on years of real prices, then paper trade it. Notebooks turn an idea written in plain words into a backtest after brokerage, taxes and slippage, with four checks for luck: the unseen years it wasn't tuned on, nearby settings, a bad-luck shuffle of its trades, and enough trades to tell skill from chance. The strategy library holds StratLab's own strategies with their checks, and paper trading, options and the F&O desk run on live prices with fake money.
Invest, research: read any Indian or US company from its own numbers and filings. Company pages show prices, key numbers, results and owners; screens and IPOs filter companies and follow an issue from its dates to its listing; red flags link fund raises, pledges, resignations and defaults to the filing.
Money, what you own: upload your broker's file or fund statement for value, gains and XIRR; a capital gains tax report, US stocks in Indian tax and an ITR-ready export; net worth and a Money calendar of tax dates, results and EMIs.
How it works: describe an idea in plain words, see what it would have done over years of history and whether the result was luck, then trade it on paper with fake money. For Money, upload your files and see your value, gains and tax worked out.
